It does’t shine. It’s not deep. It’s simple yet, believable.
It’s a healing type of story, I believe?
Overalls…for now it’s alright, can’t complain.
Maybe just a little frustrating with the ml. But it’s tolerable.
I’ll wait and see how it develops

Nice story, well paced, it is a power fantasy, self aware and it’s honest about it.

BUT

if only they had tuned down of that fan service, the only females that wears decent clothes are the mum, the sister and some faceless character in the background…

The Paladin, it would have been so nice to have an armored lady, and there are many beautiful, function, historically accurate anime style art about those, it could have been so cool, but no. Sailor like miniskirt, and accessory that just marks the breasts more.
I can imagine how uncomfortable that wear might be, and that last Chelsea girl, she is pitiful, really, but then again, her clothes, why they look like plastic, the maid too, why is the skirt above the knee. Is look like they used some Halloween costume as maid clothes reference, can’t they see how crude it looks?
Give those ladies some long skirts.
Even knight ladies with long skirts, as long as it’s above the ankle, they don’t get dragged in mud and doesn’t get in the way. And they can even hide stuff, like the maid in Black Lagoon. Hiding all sort of small weapons and maybe some magic tools.

I would give it less the one star of I could. This is trash.
Bad pacing, even if there’s little originality in this genre anymore, there’s nothing that is interesting, brainless characters, ridiculous and rushed cheap plot.

Who wrote this? Did they actually write it down before drawing the story?
This is not even fun.

Doesn’t even qualify as trash food of guilty pleasure.

And who is even the audience of this?
Who are they trying to target?

What in the tarnation is happening?

I finished the novel… like….holy hell. The twists and turns, it’s so melodramatic circle of encounter and separation. Not my cup of tea.
