I honestly really liked Soleia even the first time I read it. I haven't reread the whole thing now so I don't remember all the details since I last read it long back BUT she had some valid points too cause hear me out! Her parents were black magicians and that's how she inherited this right, she was raised this way first of all, so if sees her parents getting killed by people that hold the holy power, ofc she'd want her revenge. So holding a grudge against the emperor is natural. I'm not saying what she did was right but honestly, did she really have a childhood with a good adult to guide her? No. Plus if i don't remember it wrong then she was like possessed almost the entire time. That black magic entity or wtv took over her body. So was she entirely in her control? No. My girl just needed some love, a healthy childhood and a TRUSTED ADULT (why does it sound funny). But yeah she wasnt even herself most of the time, how can I blame her. Or maybe I'm just biased towards strong beautiful women. Plus she had such impeccable taste? The dresses weren't drawn with much details I know but this has been my lifelong wish to read a story with a fl who has this color palette and vibe ykwim? But I find none. There are some that starts like this but then they start wearing nice niche clothes.
Well wtv lastly, I love Yerenica a lot too. She's a cutie, perfect for Erudian. They're lovely together but Soleia is perfect for me.
