Izek will join the tournament and he will not be around Ruby during that time.
Ceasar (? The brother) will kiss Ruby in the garden saying that he loves her which will freak Ruby out coz she never thought he thought of her that way especially with the abuse that she experienced. Unfortunately someone will see them (i think it was the girl who likes Izek Furiana)
During the tournament finals Ruby was mad and rebellious to her brother. Izek won and gave the flower crown to Ruby. There was a celebration party after and Izek was trying to find Ruby who was taken away by Ceasar. Ruby made sure that Furiana saw her leaving with her brother (i think she felt she was in danger) because she knows Furiana will tell on her (to sabotage her relationship with Izek).
Ruby found out Ceasar was trying to smuggle her out/kidnap her by triggering monsters to wreak havoc in the city. She fought back to her brother telling him that Izek loves her, he doesn’t hurt her unlike Ceasar etc. her brother flipped out and started beating her and this is the scene saw when Izek caught up with them. Izek went beast mode (forgot the actual term) like literary he powered up and everything and attacked Ceasar with his sword and holy powers. Cesar’s shield was about to fail but Izek was stopped by his father and colleagues coz their power’s hurting other people too. Cesar escapes. Izek started attacking Furiana’s brother who malicious insinuated earlier that Ruby was having an affair with her brother. Chaos ensued when they received news that the frost dragon and other monsters are attacking the capital
