I know shin is a main character and all, but tbh I been knew he's shady... The dudes shadyness has been foreshadowed over and over again to the point where you can even call him a borderline antagonist. Now as much as I love shin and think he's pretty and all that, hes selfishly selfless, has a superiority complex, and doesn't actually care about what the king thinks. Shin is only trying to give him and the whole kingdom his own view of a perfect life/kingdom. He's so blinded by this that he can't even see that the king is literally in love with him. You can call him dense but in reality he's just being blinded by is "perfect vision." I kinda don't like shin for this reason but I can't help but be interested in his future self/plans. So much so that I almost adore his character. I hope he sees what he's getting the king into.
