ML ‘too much’ of a Tyrant to my taste… based on what I read until now too.
I read some comments and I am actually going to say the opposite of one her: I am always attracted to the ‘psychological’ part of a character story. This is to say that I find it really interesting to know the feelings/ story behind some actions - I do not consider these ‘sob story’ in some cases.
A bloodlust ML with no reason does not interest me at all, especially since everything it is reversed since he meets the FL. FL who is the only person, out of nowhere, who he doesn’t act as a Tyrant, well, for ‘no reason’.
I hate, and I can’t stand, when a FL literally cannot grasp the concept of the ‘story has changed’, I do not need to escape anymore as ML now loves me… like, eh?
I have not read the novel, but the ending are ‘terrible’, sorry.
I can acknowledge that it must be a very well written Novel, based on some comments, but no, just no.
He is a tyrant and FL kills him and then he is a semi zombie-vampire and this is supposed to be his atonement? With his mind now ‘changed’ after the revival? I do not know why FL kills him or if she does that just to get ‘control’ over him, but no, just no.
In addition, No empire and now ML and FL just live by themselves ‘forever’? (Did I mention how much I hate the stories with ‘immortal ML and FL?) with no friends, or other family/kids, etc.?
At this point if it comes to it, the What IF ending is better, but still too nonsense/bitter in my opinion. She really say to the ML BYE loser tyrant be good and now happy and I go back home, now let me check with my BFF/maybe real new lover what happened in the novel after we left. I think this ending fit much more the tone of the story than the original ending.
nevertheless, both endings leaving a ‘bitter’ taste which could have been avoided and I do not particularly appreciate.
What to say, pity, as someone also mentioned the FL is ‘cool’ for once.

The story itself is cute but way too much dragged on for 42 Chapters…in my opinion not worth it to be honest, and do not let me start on the second ML and second couple… dropped, I am not gonna wait for the translations..

Honestly when I was reading this, I felt kinda iffy about them and the story and the whole situation, and there were some questionable actions that didnt sit right with me (ex. Why would u continue fking someone while theyre unconscious, ugh red flag, he was so much better in high school, now he doesnt have respect for boundaries)
