Jinwoo does end up liking someone, but I don't think it affected the action because it was minimal. The 'romance' if you can even call it that, comes and goes and the author kind of throws in moments here and there but it doesn't really leave a significant dent in the story or the action. It does become more prominant at the end. As someone who isn't a fan of romance and action together, I thought it wasn't that bad, so idk, give it a chance first then decide if it's really that bad.
