the authors on an indefinite hiatus because their "most precious person" has passed away so this probs wont be updating in a while. There is a decent amount of hyesung in this and a few moments of Luna, its a super good story. Hopefully the author takes time for themselves

What side characters are you talking about? Because the author stated expressly that this story doesn’t have a “main couple” it’s a story with four main characters, their individual history and their dynamic. Focused on the actual plot with a side dish of romance.

It looks to me that eunjae was the main character cause the whole plot is involved around him but than some weirdo goblin, grim reaper and a guy that idek what he is came alone my memory is a little fuzzy but they had some weird annoying love triangle

Those other characters are crucial to the plot and without their backstory you can't understand anything about the story happening currently, including what's happening with Eunjae and San

there is no love triangle and passing around! I think you mean yama, geumsun and 704 right? Yama does butt into their relationship and he does some questionable things but it never goes that far.

the story focuses on geumsun and 704 a lot though and there is a flashback about them as well.

Eunjae was introduced into the story first so many think he’s the MC, sadly, both him and San are not as „important“ as geumsun and 704

this is literally the only time where clara's emotions and feelings are finally expressed after her bottling down everything and the first thing you could say about her is childish and selfish..
this arc is truly meant for readers like you who only see her character on the surface.

While yes, for Azz's case, he's way less expressive with his liking towards Clara but that's because people dynamics aren't always the same! I bet you didn't even notice that Azz takes pictures of both Iruma and Clara and even ones where it's just clara alone in some small panels. He truly does care for her, you're just too busy watering down Clara's character to see it.

And I love IruAzz too don't get me wrong?? (I'm a love trio shipper) But you've got to be less miserable and stop invalidating other people's ships man. Just scroll and live on.

I don’t hate her but she is childish and selfish cuz she keeps inconveniencing iruma with her constant need of attention cuz of her abandonment issues azz also was too focus on iruma that he didn’t have any growth in his ability but he slowly develops into a better character as time as go by but Clara is just stuck in her freshman mentality she needs to step up I haven’t read since ch 358 I hope she changes by the time I reread this in the summer cause as for now she’s irking my soul

Clara can be childish, yes, but goodness that's not the only thing that defines her. Her childlike traits just happen to be a part of her.

I usually don't care if people hate characters but only if people hate them for the accurate reasons. You can hate her character because she can be childish, ok that's fine, not everyone likes that.

But selfish? That's so incredibly wrong. List me chapters where Clara was ever selfish. Because remember when Asmodeus and Iruma had a date where Iruma declared the three of them as soulmates?

Yeah, Clara «planned» that date for the two of them. She planned a date that she wasn't even in on. Because she was being selfless for Azz. She wanted the two of them to have their own fun heart-to-heart moment because of how restless Azz has been.

And wdym she's inconveniencing Iruma?? If anything, it's Iruma's choice to worry over Clara because she's someone important to him. He's always had the choice to be "inconvenienced" or not by Clara's own issues because he cares about how she feels.

Of course Clara would want attention! People want to be paid attention to by those they love! That's completely normal?? Adding the fact that Clara was already hurt before in the past, she just doesn't want to be hurt again now by the two people she trusts so much.

Of course she doesn't want to be abandoned! But there's never been a time where she pushed that fear unto either Iruma or Asmodeus in order to hold them back. Let me remind you, the only reason Clara is outwardly expressing her need for Iruma and Azz to be physically close to her in recent chapters is because she's under the influence of her evil cycle (which, enhances a demon's desires).

And it's so disheartening how you cannot see the complexity of Clara's character. How, underneath her childlike nature, is her pushing down her own desires and wants because she doesn't like the negativity that surrounds it. She doesn't want to admit that she feels negative about things because she's "supposed to be happy" all the time. And that's something that's so present in many youths today, especially those who are prone to people pleasing and giving up what they want just to not upset anyone.

As for Clara's growth, I assure you, this arc will be the starting point of it. Nishi (the creator of mairuma) adores the love trio, I'm sure she wants to do Clara's character justice as well.

As for how you see Azz and Clara's dynamic, I couldn't care less since that's for your own interpretation. But you cannot place your interpretation as factual to invalidate other peoples interpretations of character dynamics.

It remains constant that Clara is not the "only childish and selfish" character you make her out to be.

For me, I can't stand Clara at all. Her character grates on me. I've been over her for a long time now. Probably a very unpopular opinion but whatever, it's mine.

SELFISH? She's literally been bullied and taken advantage of for years because she's NOT selfish and would actually jump off a cliff if someone asked her to. She happily helps raise her bajillion siblings born of chaos, how could you even say that about her? It's been 385 chapters and her whole character arc is learning how to hold space for herself and her emotions it's the whole point of this evil cycle DO YOU EVEN HAVE EYES?

ur absolutely right, there are few bls who have good side pairs but the one in here is a miss. it felt like they were just put in there for the hell of it. i didn't feel any sort of connection with them at all. no depth, no flavor, nothing!
