Moritat is complicated to understand. Did Law love Jesse or not??? Did Jesse love Law???
I am soooo confused.

they've been through... very, very different and complicated stages of 'love' throughout the years, I'd say. Law saw Jesse as everything he wanted to be, everything he could never be, and then as everything he wanted to have and could never have. He was obsessed, envious, jealous, angry, and in love with Jesse all at once. He had wanted to stand on equal foot with Jesse, once; only coming to realize through Moritat that his fucked up childhood had made for an equally fucked up adulthood where, in the end, he needed someone who's not an emotional mess like him - Jesse, obviously - to take control for him.
I think that during the early years of their relationship Jesse did love him, just... not in the way a lover does. More like pitying kind of love you feel for a puppy, something of a nature that's lesser than yours - but love, still. After going through Moritat, I think Jesse's love for Law evolved from 'this pitiful thing needs my love for my love, and I'm mighty enough to give it' - as in, a feeling that existed mostly to feed his own ego - to him seeing the mess Law carried inside him in its fullness and realizing it wasn't a mere gesture of kindness, loving him; it wasn't something to hand out carelessly, but something to nurture, to act upon, to actually invest his own heart in. no more 'he needs my love for my love', but 'he needs this specific kind of love that only exists when there's two to make it whole'.
still not the healthiest take on love all things considered, but Moritat was never about the taking the healthier path anyway. Law and Jesse are both flawed as hell, and if this were any other story they would probably stay away from each other and work on their issues by themselves, or with other people that not each other. as it is, they acknowledge their personal flaws and the flaws in their relationship and choose not to change - at least not fundamentally; sure, there's improvement in their characters, by themselves and together; it's just an improvement that doesn't push beyond what they're used to - but to accommodate and accept. that's what I took from it, at least.

Poor Ren... Kyoko is convinced he has a GF. Which is telling me after all this time she still doesn't know Ren. After the Caine arc you would think they got to know each other better. Ren is far from a playboy. Kyoko keeps getting it wrong and is too naive. She should trust Ren by now. He hasn't done anything wrong for her not to trust him. I wish Kyoko and Ren would finally admit their feelings to each other and then watch their relationship grow with other interference's and how they handle them. This story needs to move on. And Sho still thinks he owns Kyoko...

I love the fact that they took their time in this webtoon about Yunjuan & Aoyue's relationship. It wasn't rushed like most are. Love the innocence.

Reading this, I can't help it but be reminded of Kyou Kara Maoh and Ouran High School Host Club when it comes the the characters.
Aoyue being Wolfram.
Xander being Gunter.
YunJuan being Conrad.
Lin Fei Yu being Kyouya.
Youyin being Honeynozuka. (love spelling his name this way)
Micheal being Morinozuka.

I am done with this manga. I will wait till it ends to see if it ends happy or not. Hina you are a CHEATING, SELFISH, WHORE. NATSUO YOU ARE AN IDIOT. RUI IS THE ONE THAT TRUSTS YOU AND HAS BEEN THERE FOR YOU. THIS SUCKS......

This manga and Hare-Kon are so frustrating with the back and fourths that it is NOT worth the drama.
I like stories where the couples get together early on like Hiyokoi, Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu, Kare First Love, and Kimi ni Todoke where we see them growing even with the troubles they face. These are more realistic.

I love manga's where the couples get together early on in the series and where they face many challenges ahead of them. To me that is more realistic. I don't really like triangle romances because I don't feel they are real. Right now my two favorite manga's are My ID is Gangnam Beauty and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?. They aren't as stressful to read and their "Live Drama's" are even better to watch. Also liked the Live Drama on L-DK because they really cut out most of the drama so it turned out cute.

I just read ch 32 and I really don't respect Do Kyung-Seok's mother. She wanted to talk with her son but yet when you see her back story, she never was a real mother to her kids. Before she lost her scent sense she was never home for her kids and worked all kinds of ridiculous hours. Later she chose her career over her kids again and she was mad at her ex for telling the kids the truth about that. A mother normally chooses her kids first. She also knew what she was marrying into when she married an older man. I feel bad for the kids only.
I can relate to this because my mother chose her career over us also. I... chose my kids first and never even left them over any ones house just so I can go out. That was what I learned. I don't regret it for one moment.

Supposedly there will be a spin-off after the series ends on Kang Marae & Do Kyung-Seok's relationship. Found it here.
