Read the prequel for the 2nd uke...dang it hurts in my kokoro. His ex and him used to be happy, but he got mad financial issue due to his family, subordinates spreading gossips about him, on top of that being harshly harassed by his ex superior, both physically and sexually, then his ex is quite insensitive and selfish, not even wanting to share the household cost and rent and bc they still loved each other that time, after 2nd uke got mentally broken and the relationship turn toxic, the ex choose to stay despise being hit...it's wrong to resort to abuse but the 2nd uke's are suffering waaaay too much compared to any other character in the series. I can relate to the level of mental exhaustion bc I'm also currently suffering from family financial problem and my verbally abusive dad...there are too many time I imagine myself punching him...but i'm not to that point of breaking yet...

they will still have happy ending because the Christmas special when they all are older, he tian comeback and mo is less agitated w/ their skinship (looks like they really end up dating) and yian yi and xixi are in college (they are dating)

I like how he's just "i used to like women, but I guess I can fall in love with a man too, aight" lol he doesn't dwell too long and doesn't complicate things. I know it's written the way the author want, but it's a relief to see a character like him who doesn't think tooooo much at everything. He's not pushy, understanding and quick to resolve any misunderstanding. What a guy.

It's not filled with angst...it's just two young lovers learning to understand each other. Kim Dan learning to give Soogeum space and freedom, and Soogeum learning to understand Kim Dan's habit and frustration. In the end both of them need each other and only by overcoming their clash in values will they be happier together.

I used to be in a relationship when I was younger that taught me a lot about relationships. I used to believe people with different personalities can still stay together without changing. My partner suffered since I refused to compromise a lot of things even tho he actually tried to 'grow' along with our relationship...both of us are in a better relationship and I learn that I really need to think together and communicate better w/ my current partner so our fights will not become bigger due to misunderstandings and stretched out because we refuse to talk things out.
