I hope that more people understand that Hyun doesn’t really enjoy baseball without YoungJun. He said the same thing when YoungJun said he couldn’t stand him the first time. Yes, his heart was broken but he showed how he just keeps playing baseball for YoungJun (to play with him) and didn’t want to disappoint people around him. His dream is not to “be the top” or go in a bigger league so I understand if he doesn’t want to leave and wants to be with YoungJun. I don’t think that their relationship is that toxic.
