Honestly this story is entering uncomfortable territory and I love it, the simple reality sometimes is that a parent never comes around and u have to go no contact, but the mom doesn't want that and it also looks like she grew up with expectations of herself being a submissive wife. I dont know how much the author is gonna flesh out this family drama but I'm excited for it. I feel like this story has come a long way.

This isn't the type of story that can make a turn around in terms of love cause if Sam ever finds out he killed his father and would kill his daughter, he could never love him. Shame cause the emperor looked so cute as a child he didn't need to do all that to a person he says he loves
