I honestly think that the ML is irredeemable. He even attacked the MC as soon as he saw him. Like the MC went through a bunch of shit alone in the 7 years. He didn't even get in contact with his sister until like a month before he saw the ML again.

The ML always assumed the MC was cheating and the author didn't even give him a reason to do that. I feel like if the ML had more of personality or maybe if he had more concrete "proof" of the MC cheating. MAYBE his actions could've been justified. But the ML had 0 reason to assume the MC was sleeping around.

I feel like mucchan could've been a better ML BUT ONLY with serious reworking of his character. If he had been colder even a bit mean to the MC instead of a bully that was harassing him. Then they could've met again when the MC gave birth. He could've had a redeemable arc in which he understands that his feelings and learns to express them in a different way. I feel that could've worked.

But idk this story honestly just needs a lot more fleshing out. I feel like the author tries to write a story focusing on redemption but just didn't know how to write it. I mean if you like it it's fine. It's not the best but it's not shitty either. But I just feel it had potential. For what it's trying to be it did fine.

I'm so tired of seeing people fully blame Skylar about what happened like both of them were wrong and right. Cirrus has a right to be mad at Skylar for what was happening before Chan li. Skylar is clearly scared of people finding out about his relationship but he takes it to an extreme level of not even interacting with Cirrus bc of the chance people could misunderstand. He made Cirrus eat in the bathroom on their date bc he couldn't tell his friends he happened to meet up with Cirrus. He also physically hurt Cirrus(on accident) bc he got scared which made Cirrus rightfully mad and he straight up told Skylar something along the lines of "if you had to would you push me out the window bc your scared of others seeing us together" fair point. Skylar is overreacting and unintentionally hurting him. Now Cirrus, he has major trust issues. He is obsessive as hell and this makes Skylar uncomfortable bc he is openly touchy and flirty and really doesn't care if others find out. Chan li asked Skylar to go to a muesum of his favorite photographer through text and Cirrus blocked him without Skylar knowing. Skylar found this out when Chan li asked him one last time. And took it pretty well and understood that Cirrus was uncomfortable with him hanging out with Chan li and REFUSED to go with him, flat out said no, Cirrus misunderstood and threw a bottle at Skylar. This rightfully pissed him off. Cirrus than started accusing him of dating him bc he can't have Chan li this pissed off Skylar again he got angry and said yeah. Then Cirrus brings up Skylars truama airing it out screaming instead of calming down causing Skylar to get scared and punch him telling him to shut up. Like both of them had reasonable reactions considering their personalities. I defend both of them honestly.
