I read a lot of comments. And some of them are frustrated about how "Big Baby, softie, pushover etc" Yohan is. So I'm gonna explain what I've understand in this manhwa. Both Yohan and Jihyun had a traumatic past and may have "Mental illness/disorder/issues". Jihyun was groomed that contributed on how he act. He was also been manipulated his entire childhood and became anxious about people aroud him. After he realized what's happening, he put a lot of courage yo tell his mom what have happened just to told to move on and keep quiet about it. As a person who experienced a traumatic event, Jihyun need someone to lean and share his burden but his mom took away that and even against on Jihyun being treated on a mental institute. Carrying his burden alone, he met his ex who was good at first but too obsessed with Jihyun. On the other hand Jihyun is still hunted by what his neighbor told him that led him to overthink and decided to break up with his ex. His ex was too obsessed that he spread their sex vid and vanish. Now Jihyun was left with traumatic past, mental issue and sexually (?) Harrased. Yohan grew up on a toxic family where his parents argue a lot. His father obviously didn't carr that much about them, just showered them with money. He's a typical loving son who just wanted a loving and complete family. He's not close with any of his parents nor his brother growing up thus he grew up being timid and shy. Being introvert, its hard for Yohan to interact with others. He just focused on studying in attempt to fix their family and satisfy his parents. He got bullied at school for being a "loser". He isn't a Big baby or a coward. He didn't fight because he knew one mistake will make his family broken. He endured that until his brother did something that led to his parents's divorce. All the hatred and frustration just piled up inside him and yet his mother still expect him to continue being a good son. He's traumatized, he expirienced domestic violence and got bullied. Now he's still stuck on his past just like Jihyun. He's too careful not to make any mistake because he already expirienced loosing something just because something messed up. Lol


This manhwa really talks about different social issues that many of us have experienced or experiencing but too afraid to talk about. Yohan and Jihyun are examples of result of broken childhood and traumatic past. Apparently, our society normalizes these issues and making it as a "stepping stone" "its part of growing up"as an excuse. They just know how to give sympathy and pity towards these people but in reality they dont do anything to prevent this and even make this as a standard or an example to us saying "look at them they're still successful, they het through that. You should be like them" when nobody should be experiencing these things in the forst place

For those readers who are still confused and insisting that there's no communication at all... There is a communication.
