Damn that parallel universe story is hard to read. I commend the author for not brushing Jihyun's actions under the rug. It would be a dangerous message to put out if Chiwoo ended up dating his abuser/rapist. Chiwoo is with the best person for him, Kyujin.
The author already said that she didn’t agree with the Chiwoo and Jihyun’s pairing, but she made the alternate universe where nothing bad happened for the people who liked the pairing, that’s why that part was probably super short in comparison to reality.
