Kinda a spoiler on the characters and plot in that story but ill try my best to not to say so much







So Roses and Champagne is a story that centers in a mafia world, tho the MC is not part of it but in a way got involve cause of the ML. I just wanna higlight that the ML is someone that grew up and trained to be a successor in a mafia group and also the setting is i think in Russia (which you can very much guess how deadly and dangerous they are).


So in short the ML is a red flag and the story is not that fluffy where he changes for the better or because of the MC. Tbh i was just there cause i like the MC's personality and also because the art is good. Its not a must read but like if your bored and want to be invested in something go for it

There was rape there and it just passed like its not a big deal and no apologies too. So ye i i just have mixed feelings at this point

I stopped reading it after the seme SHOT AND RAPED the uke, and the author just pretended it wasn’t a big deal and the characters got back together and it was never properly addressed. The scene itself was pretty disturbing too, and it was based on a huge misunderstanding that the seme had and because he’s daft, he decided raping a dying body was the way to go, instead of hearing the uke out at least.

Oh my I read some spoilers for volume 2 it’s really toxic but where did you read the novel?)

I did too. I had heard about the spoilers and stopped reading after I checked out the chapter where he's been shot. I really wished at least the uke would struggle but like, the hell w all the fluff I can't believe ppl supported this couple ....
