They're in college already, so they're all legal adults. In college no one fucking cares the shit you've done or whatever you looked like as a kid. Anyone can be fat as a child and then lose weight, that's nothing to mock someone about.

It’s actually interesting how Cain calls Yawhi a cat whilst Yawhi calls Cain a dog. We’d sort of expect Cain to be the cat since he’s a bit more mysterious and reserved and Yawhi the dog because he’s more problematic in a sense. But the roles are completely reserved which proves that we don’t actually know either of these characters and why they do the things they do and say the things they say.
It also makes sense because cat and dog are known to not get along
