Idk about that, they're too ugly to get adapted and I don't mean that in a mocking way, I mean it genuinely because animes that usually get adapted have pretty or tolerable character appearances based on the author's art style, the reason why these exaggerated semi realistic mangas never get adapted is precisely because of these two reasons: they're not popular enough and they're ugly.
