For me both are not wrong. Their actions are so human and show just how complex human emotions are. I totally agree. And on the flip side of that, on top of not knowing she isn't in love with Theon anymore, Ethan's still acting like mutual affection is a lost cause. I think this is also him being unfair to Dorothea because he continues to assume she hasn't grown from who she was in the past, at least in this respect, even after he learns she also retained all of her memories. He is deeply aware of how deep Dorothea's obsession with Theon ran, but he's also known both of them since they were kids in this life and he's seen how she acts towards the current Theon. Things are clearly /different/. With how attuned he is to her, he should have noticed some sort of change and tet he's resorting to similarly petty acts of jealousy. Getting back to what you said about people praising Ethan for trying to do the same while being negative towards Dorothea for trying to live normally and show empathy —Ethan spent the same amount of time in this timeline as she did and is only now trying to redeem himself as a person. The empathy way Dorothea shows Theon, someone whom she was hurt by and to whom she feels extreme guilt for hurting, is far more deserving of that praise considering empathy was essentially a foreign concept for her at the beginning of the story. Ok I think this will be a big miscommunication trope, I honestly saw the manhwa on tik tok thought it will make me rage and had to know what happens
so chapter 7 just shows us he doesnt have a gf at least he said that and he hates his mother and that girl he was with is a friend who he called annoying and in the end of the chapter we see him on the stairs burying his face on his knees and sighing as someone call him
chapter 8 shows that our FL is a bit much, he tells her lets go out to eat tomorrow and the whole day she is checking her phone he doesnt texts her then she sees him outside playing basketball which is unusual for him because he supposedly doesnt like sport
