Its so hard to blame everything to song rik when the recent chapters clearly show how abused he was physically and mentally so when his only 'family' gave up on his shared dream obviously he'd feel crushed. Which is not a justification for the bullying but it shows how real abuse to children can lead to. Song rik is still a victim of child abuse, and also a perpetrator behind jinhyeong's bullying.

The demon king was the only one he had beef with in the demon realm. However, it is a tragic end for the 2 villains, the greedy bystander, and the MC. If I recall, MC passes away in Ed's arms or something similar due to his injuries.

Let it ferment and read after completion. I'm an advocate against toxic semes. But I can pardon this guy. Because there is a genuine character; for both parties. They both hold on to their believes and doesn't fall in love in a chapter or two after being enemies for quarter of one season. Also also the other damsel-in-distress ukes can learn from Yeonjo.

Pieces of media don't have to be "enjoyable" experiences. I read it while publishing and remember being mentally tortured not knowing what will happen next. The unnerving feeling that that manwha exuded was off the roof. Some people called it romance but frankly it was phycological horror that just happened to have two male MCs. I view this manwha in similar lens, despite the differences. There are cute moments that leaves us with a "What could have been" sentiment, despite knowing that shit will only go downhill.

I know some people who are in a similar toxic situation. Aunty looks too much like a living fossil that we asked if she'll be willing to file a complaint but, she never asked for help or took the help which was provided. I detest these kind of stories where they show violence disguised as love and ukes who support such semes.
KS never had any romance and I was really surprised that people actually shipped them. The author never intended to be "romance" but a depiction of a toxic attachment between the victim and the perpetrator can develop. A common pattern in these kind of stories is the "if I was born or grew up under different circumstances" arcs, so that is partially what hooks people in. It's very sad. There are other theories for why these toxic dynamics are popular too, which center mainly around the female audience and the suppression of sexuality. There are a lot of video essays about it too. Personally I am super bummed that historical yaoi seem to lean more and more into "master-servant" plots.
