I think it can basically be chopped up to she has abusive parents, and she's kinda a shitty person lol. Her dad planned that whole thing because he didn't want them together. When she found out her dad planned it she felt so guilty she felt like she couldn't go see him. But she was also mad(????) Because he didn't tell her he was adopted. So when they met again. He's crying and begging her to go with him, she's feeling a mix of guilt, and self preservation kicking in and says the meanest thing she could freaking think of. Them runs away. She was basically just a coward. I try to sympathize with her because all this happened right after her main abuser died. But it doesn't make what she did okay so idk I'm fine with him bullying her a little she deserves it
