1) What lucius is doing this so that henry doesnt get hurt hes saying this that he knows henry doesnt want to hear o he wont see the person he love get hurt anymore pushing his personal feelings aside
2)I dont like how bearly anyone is looking at henry point of things and at chances. While Yes chance has sacrificed so much and gone through so much so has henry just in a different way.
-Henry in the original story gave up, for chance and lucy to be happy together he thought that he didnt matter as long as chance had lucy with him and for him he wanted both of them to be happy. He pushed his own thoughts and feelings back because he didnt want to ruin anything and when he made the wish, he tried his best to put everything back together all tho he had a chance to get with chance. Even then he stressed him self out and pushed the blame all on himself. this is why lucius saying that it isnt his fault that this happened and when he said the opposite of what he siad before it put him into a shocked, stressed state. Chance telling henry his feelings and henry pretending like he never heard is understand able. Image the crush you had for so long and gave up on confusing to you after a wish you made, You would feel guilt and your mind would be all over the place. Chance doesnt want to be abonded by the one person he thought would always be by his side yet hes making it harder for henry by ignoring his feelings and letting into it.
