All in all I think the author changed their minds alot in the story
Totally agree. The author 100% changed their storyline and you can tell with how bad the pacing got toward the end. I was and still am for Paulo, who was way more interesting and complex then Saliou, who literally had the personality of glue. And his relationship with Gabriel was terrible and cringe.
