I think the way the artist does the scratch filled backgrounds for filling blank space really gives it a story book feel, despite being a very basic plot it feels whimsical and refreshing

You know what? I agree with you. At first I saw your comment and was like "no way I love a good romance". But now I'm seeing their interactions and I want it to be a innocent growing up style of story where they're all like siblings. Then they go on adventures and then grow up eventually and then marry and fall in love separately. I didn't at first but I agree with you now.
