She was never an orphan, her mother was the pope’s mistress however her mother was already pregnant with ruby before she had an affair with the pope so she’s not the pope’s actual daughter. The illness is real, but take caeser’s words with a grain of salt. Initially when ruby first possessed the body she was “treated well” until she made a “mistake” and realized the life the OG ruby lived. We dont know how the OG Ruby was treated at all since ruby possessed the body at age 15, but we do know she was abused regardless
