you know, i don't think we can rly call the demon king's origin as evil. i believe what is good and what is bad is determined by its purpose, regardless of the results. and the demon king was doing what they thought was right and just. but ofc by human standards, in accordance to human belief and behavior, it was pretty shady. it was smth humans are not able to comprehend, and what humans perceive as incomprehensible and suspicious is, without any consideration, evil. and the subjugation of said evil led to the creation of true evil. what the demon king did may be reasonable, given the nature of its actions being revenge. however, in any circumstance, revenge never gives a favorable ending for anyone, whether they be truly involved or not. it only creates a never ending cycle of hatred and extermination of each other. and to be honest, im pretty sure it's been difficult for the demon king as well.

yall it's called "surviving as a maid" for a reason. she's not in a position of power or influence where she can easily do and say what she wants. this is unlike typical manhwas where everyone magically just listens to the MC. she could literally die right there and then if she speaks even a single word of mistake to the emperor. and obviously that would be going against the whole purpose of her decisions and the story's title. it's not like she can tell people "help me, something bad is gonna happen." that would only raise suspicions against her. and even if she does things quietly, i doubt she'd go unnoticed in the blond bitch's eyes.
