It reminded me of the YA dystopian books i read when I was growing up lololol. But dang, the FL’s borderline craycray. If that’s love then I wouldn’t want it sksksksk and the way I choked when somebody asked her if she was being abused. Gurlie! I get that you love him, but maybe establish some safe word maybe.
Nonetheless it’s a good read, I just hoped they also showed how ian’s lovelife blossomed

But few hours later and here I am crying at this masterpiece. Each character had substance and are well thought of. I empathize deeply with Jack. He’s such a broken kid that clung to whatever’s in front of him.
Aiden’s character was quite heavy to take in, but I’m still rooting for him nonetheless. His job involved difficult calls, as he was in the army. But I do think that the decisions he made in his past still haunt him. And now he made it his prerogative to protect jack and the FL as a way to atone for his past.
I feel like its also a subtle nudge that there will always be a greater evil lurking among us waiting for the perfect opportunity to exploit us.

I think Erin and the CTO needs therapy lol. It was never shown that she was able to move past her trauma’s and past experiences and the CTO’s issues with his dad was never addressed.
Also I feel like Erin’s bff like the doctor ex, but it was off unrequited. I feel like what we’d be seeing from this point on, is how the ex and the bff will get together.
But daaaang, it must’ve been hard for the ex. So far (irl) only a few people had been cured from HIV. There are medicines that could help, but it doesn’t necessarily cure you, if anything, it just helps you live your life better. But this is a fictional story— so he might be cured by now, and this is also the reason why he had the guts to come back to Erin’s life.
Like bRo.... I’m gonna give you my kidneys, and my whole life if u want to ╥﹏╥
