Every time I seee her annoying ass my blood pressure rises…. Please can we have her killed off already?
Okay so I really want to hear other people’s input on this- am I crazy for thinking Rein is not as bad as Wilhelm? I agree Rein was manipulative and took advantage of Will, but he was also manipulative and gaslighted like crazy and was horribly possessive and a liar. At may any points Will was abusive to Rein as well- him holding her against her will and touching her, him turning her words against her and making her doubt herself and think she’s a worse person than she is, him asking to use her body for 3 days (low key r*pey??), him saying he wasn’t a to break her and keep her all to himself etc. I feel like at the end when Rein hasd that whole revelation about not loving him as much as he loved her and how she used him etc didn’t hit me that hard because I still looked back and thought will was crazy asf and nothing would ever change how he treated her. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good yandere, but what made me unsure was how Wilhelm regressed as the story went on. In the beginning he wanted to devote himself to her (still unhealthy but not as bad as later), later, he wanted to hold her hostage so no one could be near he. Sure, he soon let her go, but that was only after she tried to kill herself. Anyhow, please share thoughts!
I think they’re both really horrible people, but what gets me about Rein is that in the beginning, she was the adult. She had all her memories and chose to groom Wilheim and send him into battle as a child, KNOWING what the battlefield would do to him, KNOWING that he was an unstable boy and dependent on her. Even when he gains his memories back, it doesn’t change his character much, his whole life he’s been used and abused, and never taught how to treat people normally. Not that it’s an excuse for anything but I’m honestly surprised he didn’t become more evil lmao. My point being that I don’t like either of them but I can understand Wilheim’s actions more in the context of his experiences, whereas Rein, I’m like…. Surely there had to be another way to exact revenge. Her father saved her from the streets and raised her with love, and you avenge him by taking in a child and sending them to hell for you? If you’re going to be evil like that, don’t be surprised when the mad dog you raised bites you in the ass
^^^Wholly agree. They were both terrible people, but Reinhardt's actions definitely hit harder than Wilhelm's and felt more emotionally vile. He was already so broken and she just picked him up and crushed his soul into finer pieces. She effectively made him what he is, and he behaved accordingly. It was much harder for me to follow Reinhardt's train of logic throughout this journey.
At the end of the day, it doesn't change the past, and what they chose to do, they both did horrible things...but I think as a reader, it's easier to understand and sympathize with Wilhelm than Reinhardt.

I feel like part of the reason that Hyundos ex is just such a bad person is because she takes advantage of people who are actually nice. If they were anyone else they would’ve exposed her a long time ago to the whole world, her whole business would’ve been out there the next day, but instead all of them actually valued her privacy and so they didn’t even share with the people closest in their lives that they knew her and so she exploits their discretion and takes advantage of their kindness which is wrong on many levels.
I naïvely hope that she would leave everyone alone after Hyundo told her that he wasn’t interested in her anymore, but she’s just doubling down and continues to manipulate people just to suit her own narcissistic needs

I love him so muchhhhh in any other series they would have just gone on pretending they didn’t know each other and start a misunderstanding that last 20+ episodes— not Hyundo though!!! He knows how to nip things in the bud before they even start
