Ikr, it was annoying because those were used as plot devices, seme's personality was pretty sweet.
Is so common to see crossdressing used just like something comical that is so beautiful to see that even if sometimes is still used to make the audience laugh is also respected as a part of the characters and not shamed as something bad or just for the laughs. This manga proves that is not necessary to have tipycal male leads who are mean and with awful personalities or excessive drama to make a shoujo manga (or a story overall). All the characters are so lovable and nice in their own ways. A great depiction of how a love story can be great filled just with healthy relationships and acceptance of who other people truly are.
