Why is this so good ? Beautiful art, angst/trauma, a very realistic relashionship between the MCs, amazing plot, fantastic antagonists. This is so underrated compared to the most popular stuff I usually read. People need to read it
Just read through the whole +50ch and I don't get people saying that she is dumb and guillible, everyone would with such a psycho but apart from that, she clearly know how to use her head and she isn't one to be stepped on without a fight (in a clever way)

You have a woman who strives to protect and take care of her family by marrying someone who she’s conflicted whether he can treat her right or not, he does and then he doesn’t, she still stays for the sake of their baby, the baby dies, and after all the manipulation and toxicity proceeds to then fake her death bc that’s the only way that psychotically obsessive nincompoop of a monkey would ever let her go, and somehow, within all her obligation to her family and duty as duchess, she’s perceived as DUMB of all things. Like, if you can’t muster up an intellectual, original, thought-provoking statement, just say that. Or that you’re genuinely not for women. That too.

Well, in real life ppl kiss even when one is not conscious when they get married , it's like they r comfortable with ep it's like not super long one but it's like gesture of love and affection, I always thought of it as normal , I mean they r wife and husband , they can do that much atleast I think ... Also it seemed to me that he was drunk too but just good at looking like he wasn't bc he is trained .... This one is common , for like the husband has early shift and wife is sleeping , he would slightly kiss her forehead or lips or cheeks before leaving , I mean here the wife wouldn't mind .... But if she said she doesn't want to be kiss like seriously and firmly , then it can be forced , but that's not the case , they look lovey dovey , I honestly thought it was cute !

I love how people are disappointed that Adriadne isn't badass anymore but looking at the situation it's clear why. She doesn't have power even if she tried she can't do shit. She is the mere daughter of a count that isn't powerful not well off, she is also illegetimate and she has to keep a low profile. She is also unmarried, her family reputation is not good and she has a sister to watch. Furthermore Alphonso is also limited. He has to deal with a delulu from another kingdom with tense relations, his half-brother and his mother are waiting for him to trip to take his place. And now both of them are involved with a murder case that could destroy what they have. Like please this is absolutely not the time to be badass. They are both powerless and they now need to think. People sometimes forget that this isn't a power fantasy

People think regressors are some kinda gods she just knows a bit about future it's not like she could've predicted this, people want badass slop characters but it's times like this where characters actually shine
