The plot is all over the place lol. Usually I would've dropped this after three chapters but I actually got hooked. This would've been great with a little bit of polishing. The art improvement is also great. I'll keep reading till the end. Hopefully the author gives them a happy ending
Currently it’s one of my guilty pleasures. In my head I tell myself that the plot holes we’re talked about off screen. If I ignore the time skips and believe that they do talk to each other even if we don’t get to see it, the story is not that disconnected.
I'm gonna let this marinate again. Wake me up when September ends

I can't bring myself to read this, because of what he did to the other witch. I should've read this first before reading the other one. Ugh I don't really think that witch can be redeemed for hunting other witches for his selfish reasons.
ur entitled to ur own opinion but lemme remind u that they are BOTH MALE witches (which was stated to be rare). If u read both then u know that witches r being hunted down and killed/sold. With Natsumi we see that instead of running he’s come to terms with the fact he’s a witch and chooses to fight for HIS own survival. I think it’s the second chapter where he says he doesn’t mind being petty or “cheating” as long as he survives. This is mostly cus he was raised by Yakuza, and was betrayed. Remember, he wasn’t BORN a witch, he was MADE a witch, and then got betrayed by someone who he thought he could trust, someone who he thought was family. Now that his father has cancer ig he saw no other way to save him. TBH i don’t think there was too much bad blood between Natsumi and Juuichi, it was mostly their familiars feeling protective and even possessive.
Then there’s Juuichi, he was born a witch, he knows what it’s like to be a witch and how society is like. He’s also very grown at least compared to Natsumi. He didn’t want anyone involved in his life, he just wanted to live quietly and alone. I don’t think he really has the guts to steal, rob, kill, or harbor violence and animosity towards people (unless they hurt Suudou maybe) even tho he’s a witch.
I think the best chapter to describe both their dynamics is in chapter 5 of ‘Majo to Neko’.
What i’m trying to say is even though the two witches may seem similar they’re actually the exact opposite, and that includes their familiars too. They harbor different beliefs and live different lives. But they’re both righteous in their own way.
