I get really tired of the semes in yaoi manga who are straight, but then dating a gay guy, long term even! But don't want to label themselves as bi or gay.
That always confused me.

Alex was a surprisingly good dude. I too was waiting for the assholery but was pleasantly surprised that he was a serious and decent dude.
I actually felt bad for Alex! Like he didn't actually do anything to make Cole unsure, he was completely upfront and open. Cole's insecurities were just a mountain poor baby.
Also I like how based on everyone else's reactions Cole might be that guy that has people who like him and want to talk to him, but he's so trapped by his own head he doesn't notice.
Also I saw on a post on chibachibascans tumblr, they actually uncensored it. I didn't even know you could do that! Wish more groups could do it (I'm sure its work tho...)

Censorship laws are weird and vary by country, there is also the publisher to consider. What I mean is sometimes it just like pixeled or theres a bar, instead of the total erasure. Like in america there us actually specific rules and some publisher care more or agree more than others. Bigger publishers might avoid the possibility of being fined or sued by going above and beyond. Smaller publishers or publisher who specialize in harder content might not bother going that extra mile and just do the bare minimum needed to be legal.
This is also only based on a blanket rule about genitalia and the 'way' the genitalia is being used isn't really important for this law in itself. I mean in the US as long as the nipple is covered you can show boobs, like my friends aunt joked that since she had surgery and her nipples were gone she could go topless. Back in the day of the church censor laws (1930s-1970s-ish) showing a bedroom with only one bed was banned in films.

Nice to see Lucaon sort of taking more of an interest in how the sex was for Kyon- loosening him up PROPERLY for once, and then asking if it felt good, noticing that he bruises easily, then almost sweetly kissing his head.
SO that leads me to believe that the chain being used here is NOT an outright act of dominance NOR POSSESSIVENESS
but rather Lucaon's messed up way of being CARING.
Generally what happens post sex is Kyon gets up, cleans up and gets back to work. So Lucaon keeping Kyon chained to the bed is probably his way of saying "stay here. stay in bed. rest up" without actually saying anything at all.

Normally I really dislike this kind of plot
I don't really like the whole "falling in love with siblings" and the whole "years/ decades of pining" thing
However I do like how everything was handled. I guess there could have been a lil more angst? It was pretty smooth sailing if you ask me.
