This is a story where the character did really damn unforgivable stuff but the story and the character is also well-built imo that it explains (not justifying) why such and such happens. I've written about ASPD once, safe to say, this psychopath is one of the self aware ones. Though tbh, they all are but, we must thank that he does not belong to the extreme(convict first degree murder or serial killer or sumn). But we did get a lot of ASPD character portrayal(just not explicitly diagnosed or confirmed by the author) but most of them are sociopaths. This story portrays a really good Psychopathic character but I'd rank it second to The beast must die cuz TBMD hands down has the best most realistic psychopath ive ever read. Psychopathy is genetic and passed down, when they do not feel emotions, they really can't. They can only act in a conscious way(showing emotions) if they want to do or own something. If wooyeon were to be depicted to really feel emotions, I'm no doctor but i guess he's a little unique? But irl this wont happen.
But in other way around, we can say that if wooyeon chose to want to, lets say, 'love' our boy, then its like a romantic declaration of oath like "I cannot feel emotions but I certainly want to keep choosing to feel you despite how incapable i am". Obsession or possessiveness is probably the best name we can give to this situation.
