Hello! Can any kind soul explain some terms to me in this manhwa like 'assimilation', 'domination' and the thing with the scents?
I don't really understand some of it and I feel like I skipped on a huge chunk of the story ((even though I read everything)) (￣∇￣")
It is kind of like pheromones in omegaverse. The vampire (alpha) got himself some food (omega) and they bonded. And now he can release a smell (pheromones) when he wants his food to know who is in charge (that is the assimilation).
Domination is when the vampire releases a strong smell that tries to make everybody obey, other vampires (alphas) will feel it, but if they are not very weak it won't have a strong effect, but the food (omegas) will surrender immediately. Everybody else are like betas who cannot feel a thing of what is going on.

He smells like the most delicious food asking eagerly to be eaten. In chapter 18, page 9 there is a graphical reference of that.
Following the previous example - when a vampire (Alpha) bonds with there food (Omega), the food (Omega) develops special abilities that help the food (Omega) survive in this new world (vampire omegaverse). In the omegaverse, the paired Omega losses the ability to attract all Alphas to mate with (like a cat in heat who sprays a pheromone saying “I’m horny come and get me” letting all the Tom cats in the area know she is ready to have babies). A bonded Omega only attracts there bonded Alpha. In this Vampire Omegaverse, the food (Omegas) gain abilities like heightened senses of smell, hearing, eternal life. All food (Omegas) gain the same abilities but they recently realized that each food (Omega) is unique and develops a specialty. * All food is not the same - some is spicy, some sweet, etc.* Minhoon’s scent (pheromone) is the equivalent of every Vampire’s (Alpha’s) favorite dessert, and Minhoon’s special ability is he can use his scent (pheromones) as a weapon. *Think of it this way - if you are on a diet and want to lose weight and are offered your favorite dessert, if you eat it you beak your diet - you lose the dessert wins. Only someone with very strong willpower can rest the temptation of eating there “favorite” dessert.* Minhoon’s has the ability to use his scent (pheromones) to control all vampires (Alphas) who do not have the willpower to stay on there “diet” even though he is only food (an Omega). Right now he only has the ability to show that he COULD dominate. He doesn’t have control over his ability yet. It might work or it might not and he is not subtle (he is using a chainsaw instead of a butter knife).

I cried at chapter 2. I can relate with the uke so much. Working so hard and putting so much effort into studying and then at the end of the day you don't get the result that you wanted. Just so happy he was able to break free from that and became kinder to himself ;A;
