Agree. I know people will say that Asahi tried by choosing to stay by Masato's side even though Kousei is there. But that was not an effort, not even did he considered how Masato felt and how selfish his request for asking Masato to stay is. He didn't try to deal with the things. He didn't talk with Kousei or scold Naru and didn't showed any effort in explaining anything. All he did was saying "Don't go" and then he waited and got wasted with alcohol just like his father.
Naru once said that Masato is way too good for Asahi and i agree with that.
