if i remember correctly, the mc got the chocolate kisses and when the other guy asked for the chocolate, it seemed like he was asking for an actual kiss. so that’s why everyone started freaking out and started to call them kibi, basically insinuating that they are a couple. anyways when the chocolate kiss incident happened the mc wasn’t aware of his feelings so their relationship in the beginning was just friends.
