I don’t get everyone’s problem with uenoyama and mafuyu’s relationship. It looks like mafuyu is healing better because of uenoyama, and the only problem now is that he’s feeling left out like he did before and he’s afraid of that. No one would have a problem if mafuyu felt left out because of other back story right? I mean it’s ok to grow and heal, it’s not like uenoyama doesn’t know. I love that he can see when mafuyu is hurting and tries to confront it and look mafuyu tries hard to clear things up when they fight, and thats growth right there. And he learnt because of what happened with yuki and its great that hes taking this approach instead. He is in fucking highschool, why is everyone expecting them to be mature? I dont get it. And yuki has passed away more than a year ago, it looks closer to two years, and a lot can happen in a years, you meet new people, ones that can save you from despair, and it’s ok. You never not grief a loved one that has passed away, there is always lingering attachments and you cant hope to replace them, but its ok to find someone new that helps you get past it better. Mafuyu has been so quiet all along and i think it has to do with the fact with how his dad treated him, that shit stays. Everyone has flaws, so do these characters. This story shows growth, not perfect characters and i think it’s beautiful.
