Lol I'll try to spoil as little as possible for the others' sake on this section. SPOILER, there ya go.
Romance? Not really. I still ship Dokja & Junghyeok tho. Two of the side characters will get together waaay later in the story.
Yes, there'll be more additions later on. There'll be one that will have a similar role as Dokja since she also read a bit of the original. One will be responsible for communication when there's no other way, and the others are just there to fight/make medicine when the main team is away.
Main main story? Surviving 'till the end of the scenarios and ending them once and for all. That's pretty much the goal up until the end, but the scenarios are really different from each other later on.
Main main fight? There were at least 5-10 of them that I thought were the main and last ones, so I can't really answer that.
Only 1 person dies of the whole team. Continuosly.
Dokja will kinda share that responsibility with the newcomer.
Oh, yes there are people like that. The leader-like newcomer is one of them.
Sorry, I couldn't answer to all of your questions since I'm not up-to-date with the webtoon.

Yes. But I don't want to spoil who that is, so if you really want to know go and read the novel :D I know it is long, but it's even better that the webtoon (and ofc more detailed). I just finished it like 3 days ago, it was definitely worth the read since the plot is really thoroughly planned.

I also don't want to spoil you when it comes to romance but Dokja is the ultimate waifu soooooo anyone can be shipped with him lol, either man or woman (づ￣ ³￣)づ

It was really such a unique read that i felt empty for days after finishing it

same as to me, I felt empty because I finally finished something so good I had to schedule almost my all activities of the whole day just to make time reading it hahhahaha
