Why, indeed. Why did a "lesbian" make an offer that Tatsuya should have refused without hesitation? Part of the answer was in her posthumous letter, but that doesn't let Tatsuya off the hook. Jun was the best thing in his life ever, I agree he deserved someone 1000% better. If Tatsuya wanted a son, he could have adopted & let what his parents think go to hell. I'd like to think when Jun finally passed away, he met the "Tatsuya" that he had longed for. Same name & appearance, but somehow not the exact same.
