I would say don't read . Main couple has many sweet moments. But other all are trauma . To the point it feels like other characters were heavily neglected.

Heard it's from a novel can someone spoil me how this story goes? Like I came here for shit ML and all but I didn’t come here for shit ML and him getting everything he wants while the mc starts to believe the ML actually cares about him.
At the very least I want the ML to suffer A LOT.
The best case scenario is the mc successfully escape through wit and brains, lives his best life with healthier relationships and ML has no power of him anymore (maybe gets a good group backing him up, how?… no clue)
But before the mc escapes, the ML gets emotionally closer to him and gets attached but because of ML's constant need for control which most often than not is sought through violence the MC realises that this isn’t love and escapes.
ML tries to find him and can't and when he finally does find him it's because the mc is choosing not to hide because he no longer needs to, ML can't touch him. If anything he's the one with the most control now.
I don’t mind them being together but I want the MC to be the one in power at the end, or at least the ML no longer has power over him.
But that's sadly wishful thinking, it's probably more likely to go in the route of Shit abusive Ml love bombs the mc and mc is too traumatised and has had no good example of a heathy relationship to know what love is and thinks this is love and boom they're together
