I don’t give two shits about the second couple, like I would have if it was done properly like in most long form story telling where they actually feel like second main characters but mofo literally did a "feel bad for me now" in one chapter like bitch u make people feel bad for u by forcing them in ur shoes (seen his side of the struggle) and really truly make it a, u're shit but I do genuinely feel bad for u. But bro told his story in like a single breath, fuck as if I care, especially after all the shit they put the main couple through
Don’t get me wrong I still enjoyed it, by no means was I ever worried tho. Like as much as the mc was the sacrifice being the literal main plot it didn’t have much weight on it. Hell even the one person that wanted a sacrifice that much didn’t feel that desperate, there was no urgency.
If anyone wants a much more heavy version of a similar plot I’d say read Radio Storm
