you actually don't have any other choice but the remake. the earlier chaps were discontinued due to some issues
So the author hired the original artist, but it was discovered after some time they were tracing characters from other series which was some big scandal. Anyway, author fired the artist and the series was put on hiatus. Since they didn’t feel it would be right to use traced art they eventually hired a new artist and restarted from the beginning which is why there’s repeating chapters with different art.

Nope literally the exact same story. Maybe slight differences in how certain things are displayed on the page (For example, I think the ML’s neck restraint in an actual shackle with magic symbols on it and the new version it’s just like magic symbols as if tattooed on) but other than that the exact same.
