I love the political drama part, to me this reads like a movie and given author’s aesthetic choices and posters featured I do think films plays a huge role in their work and Joo’s frustrations with his job that up until this point was seemingly all he knew and how despite how much effort it puts in this is how politics works(im not smart but) you don’t know who you can trust and everyone has their own agendas. And it all kinda rains down on him in a such a way that the YAOI PLOT CAN HAPPEN
Idk I like how it’s not overly serious but also not overly goofy/smutty. My happy medium. Also does everyone feels like this is camp like exploitation films of the 70’s-80’s I think this is current setting yet it feels also before this time idk ts good
