this was so cute and fluffy. the journey in getting into the relationship and realizing feelings were there. i couldn't say that the relationship progress was slow? but the story wasn't rushed, something like that

i actually have a lot to say about this story. i hesitated because some of the comments were negative but i have to agree with the majority that it indeed needs more and that the ending felt rushed. but i was okay with the art style (or maybe my standards just aren't that high?), and i was quite satisfied with dokyoung and hajin's ending. just that the other characters need more.
the couples, yeonwoo-jaejin and sungjoon-taehyun, NEED MORE
my thoughts are kinda jumbled up ughhhh but if u wanna hear me out, continue reading, and for those who havent read yet, spoilers ahead!
1. jaehyuk is a yandere. self explanatory. i don't know what happened to him, you could say that he only treats hajin right because he didn't meet other friends aside from him and taehyun but the fact that it was him who opened up to hajin first bothered me. so he was a friendly guy, he could potentially be popular for having many friends but he stuck with hajin. then just mere talk between hajin and other people agitates him. i think there's more to him than what meets the eye when taehyun held his hand and told him they'll run away. actually, if ever the story gets a sequel, i want him to find someone for him and be in a healthy relationship, this time.
2. i get why hajin still has jaehyuk in his life. hajin didn't feel loved in his childhood years, idk with his parents (i rlly love them, the mom drank alcohol while suffering over the fact that her kids are suffering) but then i didnt see much of the parents spending time with both jaejin and hajin? so maybe it contributed to hajin wanting to receive love? and he felt love from jaehyuk. he could stop jaehyuk from his bad deeds coz obviously, he's stronger but he didn't because that way, he felt love, he said this himself. but jaehyuk did save hajin before, he made hajin smile again, it's easy for us to say this but then it's hajin who suffered so we rlly dont know how it was difficult for him.
3. dokyung and hajin seemed to have switched roles because it was hajin who chased after dokyung before and near the ending, hajin broke up with dokyung and dokyung didn't give up, going after hajin.
3.1. i understand why hajin broke up with dokyung. because he was thinking that being in a relationship with him only hurts dokyung physically (from jaehyuk), it was a stupid decision from hajin, he could beat up jaehyuk for this but he didnt because again, jaehyuk still played a special role in his life, jaehyuk's appearance became a turning point in his childhood. but this doesn't mean hajin loved dokyung any less. the guy loves dokyung very much, it's shown in the story, but loving someone could also make you decide on stupid things, and this fact happened to hajin. i think his conversation with taehyun (where taehyun told hajin the truth that he liked dokyung) made him go back to dokyung.
4. speaking of taehyun, his sacrifice is no joke. he genuinely cares for his family, especially hajin, as shown in the story; how he physically changed himself to protect him in his childhood years. the fact that he had feelings for dokyung but helped him get together with hajin is heartbreaking. not everyone can do what he did. i'm glad that he didn't want to dwell on his feelings for long and confessed to dokyung and accepted his rejection afterwards. he also didnt lead on sungjoon when sungjoon showed interest in him. but he later on saw sungjoon's efforts for him and genuinely cared for sungjoon, even if he had feelings for dokyung, i can tell that it's slowly vanishing, replacing it with feelings for sungjoon.
5. sungjoon seeks fun in life and i guess he found jaejin interesting since he knew he was a vampire and eventually got curious about vampires, even wore red contacts and had that tattoo on his neck. he was seeking fun with taehyun but he found love instead. i'm so glad that he could be there for taehyun while taehyun's being there for everyone. his hard work wasn't in vain, seeing how taehyun seemed to like him back now, but we dont know much, because we neeed more from their story.
6. jaejin wanting to become human to be with yeonwoo and yeonwoo wanting to become a vampire to be with jaejin. just to be with one another. i personally think that this is very beautiful. we didn't see much of these two but they obviously have feelings for one another and yeonwoo helped the brothers reconcile.
7. hajin would appear like he wants attention or smth but he wants love from people. i think he degrades himself and personally speaking, it hurts me when i see people degrading themselves because they failed to see their worth. that's why there are scenes when he realizes that dokyung gets jealous of him with another person, he would tease him, or even the fact that he didnt stop jaehyuk from getting violent when he can. but it's what he's feeling, we shouldn't invalidate it. from what i noticed in the story, vampires dont have that much of people they let into their lives.
8. the ending felt rushed??? but i could say that i understand the main couple. it felt rushed for me because i guess i wanted to see balance in words and actions. it was more on words, i could say that they were sincere but i also wanted more time spent between the two to justify the words they said. there's toxicity in their relationship?? but idk, i think that it wasnt that toxic but it appeared toxic to others because it seemed like they were okay to be in that relationship (even if it becomes abusive or hurtful) as long as they have each other. but it's kinda contradicting if it's that way. they meant that no matter what happens, be it good or bad situation, they would want to be by each other's side. and i guess it also appeared toxic because the title is "bottomless swamp" and if we interpret their words in accordance to the title, it would indeed sound toxic. there's a bit of toxicity for me but i can't say that it is entirely toxic. in fact, they're a very cute couple. they both went through a lot. but i'm just glad that they found their way again to one another. they love each other so much and they deserve to be with one another.
and then again, we need more of the other characters. or the story in general.

it was so cute, the love at first sight and funny moments between the couple and friends. i'm glad that they have each other. seme accepts his own feelings and uke developed romantic feelings towards seme, too. and i'm glad that uke finds friendship with seme's friends
i actually enjoyed reading this one. the first couple were jealous types and seme had trouble finding out his feelings for uke but im glad they both love each other. i'm kind of bothered on the eating flesh thing, i hope that it won't happen in the future lol which means that their love is everlasting or smth. also, the second couple was cute, i came across the same scenario from another manga where the seme didnt say anything and just blurted out that they're dating lmao

the way they feel about each other was really adorable and i like how they got to where they are in their relationship. and to be honest, if not for the succubus thing, uke and that girl he likes could've gotten together since the girl also likes him. and i'm glad that uke realized how lucky he is to have seme by his side. i didn't like the part where seme forced himself and but 1/4 of me thought that it was kinda necessary and i feel so guilty abt it. seme's point in that part was to ask if it was okay for uke to do it with other guys and made uke think about it if that's what he really wants. but he could also just say some scenarios and don't force himself on him??

the first couple was adorable. the couple in the cover is the second couple in the story. i like both couples. but idk with the others but they wanted the second couple seme to be jealous? but wasn't he kinda jealous of his brother because he thought second couple uke opened up to the brother more than him?
i really enjoyed the story. it was adorable, funny, and hot. uke is kinda childish (which makes sense for his age) and does reckless things and decisions but he learns from his mistakes and they both genuinely love each other. i dont get why they tagged rape because they both were into it whenever they do it.
also, i dont think you should depend on others' opinions whether it's a good story for them or not. if you're uncomfortable or not into teacher x student then i dont think u should dwell any longer on thinking whether you want to give it a try or not when youre not 100% sure.
