First he names his eldest son (Alyosha's dad) heir because he contracted a hugely powerful spirit, then he yanked the position to give to his other son (Aisha's dad), who had no spirit and no interest in the throne, but was supposedly a genius. (Leading to the eldest son's suicide.)
Then he names Alyosha heir as some kind of penance (plus, contracted spirit), and just keeps Aisha there (despite her supposedly weak spirit) to make Alyosha work harder for the throne. Even in the OG timeline, he never intended to make Aisha heir; it was literally all to make up for his mistakes with Alyosha's dad.

-the nyx noel mentioned is a living doll made with the dead body of roxanna's brother, he has the appearance of roxanna's brother when he died, a teenager. Noel usually makes dolls from scratch but was trying to make one using human's bodies and roxanna's father was interested in it so he gave his own son's body to noel. Nyx was the first doll made with human body that worked, and he's got a personality of his own (a really nasty one) different from the normal dolls that just do whatever their master tells them.
-roxanna will find out abt it and it's pretty sad, she gets really confused seeing someone with the exactly same appearance of her brother walking around and then discovers that her father sold his corpse to noel. But not long after she comes back to her senses and acts like the badass that she is.
-noel doesn't have any remorse or whatsoever for using a real person's body to create dolld, instead he shows it to Roxanna as if it is normal, he doesn't think what he does is wrong and is quite proud of his creations.
-the nyx tries to play with roxanna's mind acting as if he's her brother, like the same personality, she gets a little shaken because she really loved her older brother but or we all know how smart she is so she realises that he's lying and trying to poison her (lmao bitch trying to poison THE Roxanna, the poison queen).
-we first think that the nyx doesn't have anything to do with roxanna's real brother, like his memories and feelings, and is a totally different existence but later when he encounters dion he gets an instinctive fear of him and remembers the time where the body owner died, as if there's still some kind of consciousness from roxanna's brother (cause dion was the one who killed him).
-don't get attached to the white haired assistant, dion kills him.
Ps.: I love this story because it's not the normal fluffy and cute "I was reincarnated in a novel" kind of plot, it's dark, twisted and quite heartbreaking.

Well according to spoiler above, it said that the name Nyx (mentioned by noel when they entered at the party) is in fact the deceased lil brother of Roxie who was now became a puppet owned by Noel. So all in all, Noel is a fuck up character as well!!! kinda disappointed because he radiates this soft and fluffy aura but yeah imma hate him now ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

I literally don't understand why the white haired motherfucker is even an option, I mean look, that asshole appears on the cover so he's probably the second male lead but he literally KILLED her and then BEHEADED her and gave her HEAD to the king of the enemy country, he's more of a villain than a romantic interest. Idk abt y'all but I don't see no romance in his actions lol but watch the author come up with some tragic af background story for him and be like "look he suffered and had his reasons so forgive him" but I'm never swaying no matter what, I want him to suffer a lot because what he did to the FL was just too cruel, her corpse wasn't even able to rest in peace since he gave her head as a trophy to the king.
