Nah I just feel like Masaki's character towards the end is just to add some conflict to the two because as much as I want to root for him, I just can't because he never really treated Yuki well before and even slut-shamed him... so nah. The two main characters already suit each other. Although, it'll be nice if he would have his own story with character development.
