Currently on chapter 41, but ive been confused abt whether a higher or lower number is high tier. For example, Desir is a tier 1 magic circle mage, but tier 1 (or lower numbers) in this case is rlly bad, however, the tier 2 magic gem (reginald’s tear) is considered rlly good. For other things, i can’t tell the rating, like shadow world ratings and monster ratings: in the v beginning for the extrance exams, someone said Desir was so weak he couldn’t even do a tier 6 shadow world (so the weakest shadow world tier 6??), and the kildra rats they fought in the entrance exam were tier 2 (so idk if that’s supposed to be super strong or not, if so, y did they put that in the entrance exam?). Im v confused rn, I also don’t get how they rate the tiers of the sorcerers? Like how do they know Desir is just tier 1?? Isn’t he applying the analyze magic, which can barely be used by higher tier mages??
Tier levels are determined by how much mana you have, and the kind of spells you can use. Since desir was reincarnated in his old body which doesnt have proper mana training and the artifact he used. He is considered a tier 1. Even in the shadow world where he learn analyze and trained his mana he was only a tier 3. But tier levels dont determine your strength. Desir had lots of magic knowledge which covered his weakness(low mana). And since he was reincarnated he still has all that knowledge which is why hes considered weak but strong.
also im pretty sure that all gems are really good just for the fact they hold mana that can be extracted at any time. Plus they sell for high in the market and are used to power magic items in the tower. I haven't read the novel yet, so I cant guarantee that everything ive said is correct but the general concept is

Ic thank u! I like the story so far, but compared to similar stories, this comic (imo) doesn’t explain parts of its world very well. There’s a lot of unknowns, and not even the good unknowns that r meant to be found out later—unknowns that i think r essential to better world building; but maybe these r things explained better in the novel.

I agree but a lot of times trying to throw a lot of information at the reader may cause them to get bored so most people just try to sum it up. If you ever read Tower of God sometimes it throws a lot of information causing me to get confused but its still a great story
I’ve been looking forever for a story where the uke is strong-willed (not strong-looking), in tune with his sexuality and isn’t afraid to be sexual, and can take care of himself—and Myongryong is all of that!
I think the author is doing something pretty interesting w the “timeline interlacing”, bc in szn1 we focused on Dojin as the mc, but now in szn2 we see what Yeonwoo is thinking at that time, and that he has his own problems... it’s like, everyone’s the main character in their own story.
I loved that Isumi was so confident with his feelings, I thought he was gonna be more tsundere and deny his feelings till the end, but i’m glad the story didn’t stray that way—too many stories like that.
The panels when he’s looking at a little kid in his lap, suddenly turns into that same kid, but grown, giving him head made me cringe so hard ksnejxbjebx
I guess people like yanderes(but so do I) and I love your profile picture typ0
