ML’s appeal used to be that although he had the same sociopathic tendencies just like his father, he appeared to be the ‘controlled’ version of him. Yes he had always been selfish, but never outright. His motivation was predictable, but he was pretty slick about it, at least in front of MC. But now author has abandoned all the emotional moments and growth they had shown us in previous seasons and made him into this empty shell of a character that only seems to fulfill a bland, stereotypical yandere porn.
I liked the two characters. I loved the parallels between fears and attraction. Not a fan of how the last villain is an outsider tho. I’d rather if it had kept it simple and make it a conflict resolution between the two of them. Also the first rape was out of nowhere it shouldve been dubious consent at most like a mind control/sex pollen situation
