So confused on what ezra decided for his future. His story wrapped up so quickly?? I wanted him to break free from being a priest. Also we never heard of their plan with ezra? The ending felt a bit rushed too, but overall it was a pretty okay story. There are some parts which i wish had more details, like the two mentioned before, her family from her old world, etc etc but they were a cute couple!!
Let me explain the ending and why I think it was okay-ish ending. ( I don't remember most of the character's name... its been awhile since I've read this manhwa. ) Areum and Millard wanted ,Ezra, ( the priest ) to become high priest. Why you might ask? Do you remember when they both said their reasoning was a secret that will be revealed in the future to Ezra? Well, it is known to the royals and the high priest that Millard will become mortal after getting it on with a mortal being. Knowing that, Areum is mortal and is officially a person on the land, she is the only person Milliard will even lay his hands on like that. The royals have been trying to kill Milliard for centuries but obviously can't.
The high priest has more authority than the royals as seen in the story. So, with Ezra being the high priest, Areum and Milliard are able to have a child and as stated, the moment Milliard gets it on with Areum- he becomes mortal. With Ezra as the high priest, the royals are unable to kill Milliard.
Now it is not known in the public that Milliard has became mortal. That is why in the last few chapters the nobles call him " vampire " and things along that line.
Why did Milliard choose to become mortal? Well, its pretty apparent that he cannot live without Areum. So I mean, might as well grow old together and die so he wouldn't have to suffer missing her.

She had her own talents based on how she was raised, that being handling people and emotions well. Obviously she wont be able to fight right away?? Also, in manhwa set in the Europeanesque times, hell, even in those times themselves, princesses/females rarely learned how to fight, how to hold a sword, etc. It was usually the men going out to fight in the wars. When you see females fighting/being a part of the demon hunting party is because they were trained to fight and/or had powers to help them fight. Expecting a spoiled princess to be a badass bitch that can fight straight from the get-go, is ludicrous. (－‸ლ)
