like most people have said - this story is kind of going in circles now. their romance hasn’t had much development & they just keep adding unnecessary drama. like why add another new girl that could potentially like the prince??? i’m hoping it’s something else but why wouldn’t he at least explain it to eli?? she’s just left in the dark worrying by herself. they’re cute, but this story focuses more on political issues rather than their romance

also the princes uncle is SO MUCH HOTTER THAN HE IS lol i sweaarrr i wish he was the ML!! when he was carrying eli i was blushing omg he’s too attractive!

ok so i went digging for spoilers and here is some that i found

- FL will not find out about her real father until close to the end of the novel. They never even consider that they could be related because she believes she’s a commoner and he believes his daughter has blonde hair. apparently it’s FL’s aid (the one with pink hair) who suspects they could be related

- 2nd ML (aka the prince) is actually kind of a gag character?? he is not very intelligent and multiple characters complain of getting a headache from interacting with him. turns out, he’s been poisoned since he was a kid by this rival faction. the long term poison didn’t kill him, but did result in mental development issues. but they do remark that the empire will be fine with him as the emperor (?)

- the big bad villain is actually the 2nd ML’s brother. he’s in charge of the royal medical team. his mother is a commoner so even though he is older than the 2nd ML, he did not become the crown prince.

- when FL goes to resign that is when ML confesses to her, looks like that will probably take a while too LOL

- FL and ML have two kids together, a boy and a girl

my lord this story is FILLED with miscommunication lol. if he would have just talked to her when he was young they would have had no issues?? it was very obvious that she loved him but nope instead he was insecure and rude to her

i’m not saying the FL is perfect because she definitely isn’t but for the ML to treat her like shit almost their entire relationship and then try to stay engaged with her without even telling her he loves her like what lol. the fact that he ran to that ho first when she LITERALLY TRIED TO HAVE THE WOMAN YOU “LOVE” RAPED LIKE WHAT???? you knew she was doing all this bad shit to the FL but instead you feel bad for her like what???? his pov made no sense in that instance, like what lol i do hope he suffers a little bit more

i think this is a pretty good story so far, not much has happened in terms of plot, but it’s still an enjoyable story. the son is so cute & i’m excited to see the romance between the FL & ML. from the spoilers i read, it seems like it will be interesting.

the translations are not helping the story at all though. the FL & her son have had their name spelled four or five different ways, sometimes even in the same chapter i appreciate people wanting to translate so people can read these stories, but i feel like i would prefer to just wait until the official / a better quality one comes out? also did anyone notice in the one chapter they were blurring out the FL’s cleavage??

at first i really liked this story, even though Lili was a child for a decent part of the story, it didn’t feel like it was dragging on (which so many stories do now) but after they entered school i feel like things have felt suuuper rushed. it’s hard to form any connections or even care for some of these relationships when we’ve only been told like two sentences about it.

i honestly understand Lili & wanting to separate herself because she’s scared, but is trying to leave her sister really the best thing to do? at this point, shes been in this body for 10+ years & she acts different from the OG lili, yet her sister still loves her. i understand her abandonment issues, but it’s frustrating because even when people show they care for her, she still can’t seem to trust them. i just need to see way more character development from her, i feel like she hasn’t changed at all since she was a kid.

now on to the male leads. for one, i don’t know if it’s just me, but im not too sure why all of these guys fell in love with her? i feel like when she was young she was a huge tease & could be viewed as rude/mean, so i wonder what made these guys fall in love with her?? i really wish she would just reject the guys she doesn’t like rather than just say nothing. if you know josh likes you, why not at least acknowledge it and say something to him instead of making him suffer??

also, i wonder, would she still feel this way about josh if aiden or carlisle were still talking to her during all of these years? kind of feels like she’ll just choose josh since he was there? i don’t have a fav male lead though, i actually like all of them… kind of not even interested in the romance at this point & just want her to grow as a character.

anyone know where this story will go now?? i feel like there’s no overarching plot besides her guilt towards her sister… like there hasn’t been any villain for a minute now so i’m curious as to what will happen??

BUT!! cedric & lia forever!! they are seriously so cute and definitely the best couple in this story lol
