I normally don’t have high hopes for short manhwas bc majority feel self-indulgent on the author’s part so more often than not, I just turn my brain off, but oh this one? this was so, so lovely and so well-written for such a short story. everything tied up just perfectly and tenderly at the end that I’m in awe. 10/10!!! will read again for the beauty of it all
I agree with everyone here who says they want the old bada back but I’m going to try and see this from his POV too; he’s been working with doha for who knows how long now and suddenly the knowledge that he’s been playing with someone else is revealed, so ofc he’d be defensive of his current partner which is doha. tho the reaction could have been less underwhelming!!
anw the plot is GLORIOUS I never would have predicted this in s1. can’t wait to see how this all unfolds!!!
I disagree with them he is the same old but he is probably feeling more relaxed because he can rely on Doha and has been with him for a long time aaand what do we expect him to figure out in a sabotaged game? Being smart and quick is one thing but figuring out something that isn’t there is another

that’s true! “gentle” isn’t an accurate term for it, especially considering how he treats the others, but compared to how the hunter (and yes he’s apparently the ML) treats the tiger and how the prince does, I’d settle for it :(
